- Woman's evening dress of velveteen and printed cotton is above the knee in length, and has an empire waist and a deep V-neck. The bodice is a solid wine colored velveteen with full sleeves. The full gathered skirt is made of velvet cut in quilt blocks with half of each block a bright cotton print of green, red, blue, yellow and white. It is lined in wine taffeta Label: "Gayle Kirkpatrick, New York"

- A pair of woman's leaf green faille pumps. The shoes have leather soles and a leather inner lining. They have a slightly rounded toe, medium French heel, and are very plain. The vamp comes to a point, and the side seam is topstitched. Stamped: Garside, New York, McBryde Boot Shop, Det. The pumps are worn with matching stockings 5B.

- This woman's golden brown plush cloak was purchased at Newcomb Endicott. The ankle length coat is single breasted with twelve mother of pearl buttons. Tight sleeves with slight puff at shoulder, rounded stand-up collar edged with rust color ostrich feathers. Shaped for bustle in the back, and slit from hem to waist. Yoke, sleeves, front, slit, and hem are decorated with black braid in an elaborate pattern. Lined with brown satin. Worn by donor's cousin, Augusta D. Von Schrader, a Detroit schoolteacher. Fur Trim. Au Bon Marche.

- A pair of woman's black felt slippers with suede soles. The slippers are trimmed with black fur, and have a faded blue satin, quilted lining. They tie with black ribbons. One slipper has a woven label: Daniel Green, Felt Shoe Co., Manufacturers, No Others Genuine. Name written inside is K.D. Hoyt. Katherine B. Durfee married Hobart B. Hoyt, June 17, 1902.

- This woman's silk plush evening coat has sleeves of heavy grosgrain silk gathered into large puff on top. The round fur (probably fox)stand-up collar is two and a half inches in height. The fur continues down the right side to the hips. There are four large buttons in the back, and another four are in the front. The coat fastens with hooks and eyes, and has a dark brown silk twill lining. The garment was bought at Taylor-Woolfenden, Detroit. Worn by Jane Lynn Patterson, whose husband was an undertaker. Original cost was $150.00.

- This women's evening gown of ecru lace with ecru chiffon underskirt is sleeveless with wide shoulder straps and a scoop neckline front and back. It has a wide lace collar or ruffle with a scalloped edge which covers the bodice front and back. The plain, flared skirt is ankle length. It has a wide suede belt covered by the same ecru lace, with a rhinestone buckle. There is a loose, waist length jacket with short sleeves having wide mink fur cuffs. It is scalloped around the entire edge and bound with chiffon. The neckline is turned over to form a small collar. Maker: Jean Patou

- This woman's ensemble has a dress made of crepon with a geometric design of orange, green, purple, fuschia and white. Natural waistline. Wrist- length sleeves with light shoulder pads and two button cuffs. It buttons to the waist and has a side zipper. The U-shaped neckline is trimmed with a self ruffle. The skirt has 1/2" pleats sewn down 10". Knee length. There is a 1/4" wide self belt. It hs a matching purple, velveteen hip-length woman's jacket with lapels faced with the same lining material as the dress and long has fitted sleeves. There is a one button closing and a 1 1/2" wide self belt. The belt has a brass buckle. The jacket has patch pockets on either side. Label:"Irving, Detroit" Labels: "Irving, Detroit" "Hattie Carnegie Original, New York".
