Printed on verso: House of Providence situated on the corner of Grand Boulevard and Fourteenth Street, is one of the finest Catholic Institutions in the country, being one of the handsomest buildings in Detroit, and possessing the newest and most up-to-date hospital equipment. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Apr 12, 1912.

The print shows a pen and ink drawing of the front of Providence Hospital as it appeared in about 1910. Printed text along the bottom of the print gives a brief history of the hospital. The print number, "58/250," is shown in pencil at the lower left corner. The last name of the artist, "Balocating," is shown in pencil in the lower right corner.
