- Description:
- View from North Capitol Avenue. The Cahill Building, at the corner of Capitol, was originally the First Universalist Church built about 1913. The next building was built by Michigan Millers Mutual Fire Insurance Company; on the street floor in this photo was People's Finance Service Inc. Next is the Lansing Woman's Club which had as its street floor tenant the First Church Christ Scientist Reading Room. The Ingham County building housing courtrooms follows with the Tussing Building completing the block. The blockades seen on the south side of West Ottawa likely were related to the demolition of the Lansing City Hall.

- Description:
- A composite view of the Tussing Building on the corner of North Washington Avenue and West Ottawa Street. The name "Tussing" can be seen in the building facade above the Rexall drugstore. City Planning Division staff trimmed three photographs for this composite view. Because the images do not match perfectly, gaps have been left in the composition shown. City Planning Division staff placed sequential numbers at the bottom of each piece: "C2", "C3", and "C4". Note that this composite and item 2015-06-003.V5.031 omit coverage of the Palms/Downtown Arts Theatre; it can be seen in other views including 2015-06-003.V2.009; 2015-06-003.V5.012; and 2015-06-003.V5.032.
