- Two copies. "The first Oldsmobile built by the Olds Motor Vehicle Company, organized in 1897, was the 'horseless carriage' turned out that same year. it was produced in a tiny shop on River Street in Lansing, Michigan, and was the predecessor to millions of Oldsmobiles which since have been manufactured in the vast plants of what is now the Oldsmobile Division of General Motors Corporation. - Description:
- Approximately 500 slides, from the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Planning Division at the City of Lansing. No index or any other descriptive information was included with these slides; the only identifying information comes from viewing the slides and sometimes text written on the slide frames. The slides date from approximately 1963 to 1980. The slides employ a numbering scheme like this: Z-1-YY Presumably "Z" is for Zoning, "1" (and other numbers) represent the particular property or project, and "YY" is the last two digits of the year. Because of this numbering scheme, the slides have been organized by year. A Zoning Procedure brochure from the City Planning Department, dated 1972, is included with this collection. These slides have not been digitized. Contact the library for access.
