The two-story building has a central staircase that connects the storage areas on the lower (basement/cellar), first floor, and upper levels. Trap doors are also indicated on the first floor and upper levels. Office areas are shown at each end of the building. The drawing is shown at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot. Separate details of the building cornice are shown at the top of the sheet at a scale of 1/2 inch = 1 foot. Handwritten text in the lower left corner shows "Frederick D. Griffith, Pvte., Co. A typical cross-section view of the wall is shown on the upper left side of the sheet which indicates the ceiling heights and floor thicknesses on each level including a basement. The title block in the lower right corner is partially cut off, but shows "Q.M.G.O. [Quarter Master General Office], Dec., 1896," and indicates a drawing scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot. Black ink stamps and handwritten text in the lower left and upper right corners show "P.E. File Nr. 6000."
