- This collection consists of materials concerning the J. W. Knapp Company department store that was located in Lansing from about 1910 to the late 1970s. In the collection are internal newsletters (the "KnappSack"--not a complete run), minutes, reports, some photographs, ephemeral items such as shopping bags and jewelry boxes, and other material. There are also photographs and some material on a Knapp historic district study and the renovations done by the Eyde Company in the 2010s. Some digital versions of the KnappSack newsletters, especially for the Christmas holidays, are attached to this record. The Knapp's department store was in operation from 1896 to 1980.

- An interview with Arylie Campbell, conducted by Bill Dansby on April 8, 2009, as part of the "Lansing 150" Sesquicentennial project. Mrs. Campbell was a real estate agent in the Lansing area. Her father John H. Dietrich, with partners, ran the Schaberg-Dietrich Hardware Company in Lansing for many years. He also built the Logan Square Shopping Center with Dorr Granger. No transcript has been produced, and no summary appears in the <a href="http://www.cadl.org/lhonline/Lansing 150 OH Booklet.pdf">Lansing 150 Sesquicentennial Oral Histories Booklet</a> booklet.
