- Description:
- This is a collection of several reels of 16mm and 8mm films, as well as 2019 DVD conversions of many of them, featuring Martha Dixon, the host of a long-time cooking program on Lansing's WJIM-TV (channel 6). All of these films with the exception of one are unedited footage taken for the production of special episodes, mainly international tours. Travels include Europe (France, Monaco, Spain); Prague and Russia; and China. There is also some assorted footage of Martha in the studio preparing to tape a program. Most footage is in color with no sound. The only film not converted to digital appears to be a full program entitled "Shurfine Kitchen Karnival" from 1967, starring Martha Dixon. The 16mm film is approximately 58 1/2 minutes long according to notes on the canister. Each item in this collection will have a digital video embedded in its record where available.

- Description:
- This collection consists primarily of recipes distributed in relation to Martha Dixon's "Copper Kettle" or "Copper Kettle Kitchen" cooking show that aired on WJIM Channel 6 TV in Lansing from 1954 to 1979. Martha Dixon became the host in 1956 or 1957, following Winifred Olds. Itcan be assumed that viewers could sign up for a mailing list to receive these recipes, which were typically produced to coincide with each weekly broadcast. For many years, a nearly complete weekly run of the recipes is included; in some such as 1975 only one or two weeks' worth is on file. Following the end of the broadcast in 1979, an annual holiday recipe list was sent until 1983, when the twentieth anniversary edition of "The Copper Kettle Cookbook" was published.

- Copper Kettle - Martha Dixon Recipe Collection
- Description:
- Includes several clips and footage of Martha Dixon. The first two are interviews with singer/actor Pat Boone. There is also a silent black and white segment about roasting a turkey, as well as a program called "Paris Calling" (vol. 7 no. 3) that does not include Martha, in color with sound. It was probably used as reference material for her European tour special episode. The footage is a mix of black and white, and color, some negative. Some has sound while other segments are silent.
