- One blueprint drawing entitled "Double Set Officer's Qrs." The drawing (Sheet No. 1) shows front and side elevation views of a 3-story, duplex style house (Building Nos. 102, 103, and 104) which was intended for officer's quarters at Fort Wayne. A typical cross-section view of the wall is shown on the upper left side of the sheet which indicates the ceiling heights and floor thicknesses on each level including a basement. The title block in the lower right corner is partially cut off, but shows "Q.M.G.O. [Quarter Master General Office], Dec., 1896," and indicates a drawing scale of 1/4 inch = 1 foot. Black ink stamps and handwritten text in the lower left and upper right corners show "P.E. File Nr. 6000."

- One drawing entitled "No. 7, Fort Wayne, Sketch Showing Traverse Irons & Stones in the Flank Casemates." The drawing consists of black ink on linen and shows a plan view and two small cross section details for one of the casemates in the fort. The casemate allows for the placement for three guns. Handwritten text beneath the title shows "Engineer Department, Washington, Feb'y 27, 1864. Sent to Col. Cram with letter of this date."

- Description:
- One "Map of U.S. Lake Survey Basin at Fort Wayne." The map consists of black ink on linen and shows the dock and frontage along the Detroit River that were occupied by the U. S. Lake Survey Office at Fort Wayne. A seawall is also shown at the upstream side of the basin. Water depths are indicated in the vicinity of the basin to the nearest tenth of a foot and are referenced "to a plane 5 feet below the capping." The names, "Wm. J. Marshall," and "Drouillard's Boathouse" are shown on the adjacent "Crane Estate" property that is located immediately northeast of the fort property. The title block on the left side of the sheet indicates that the map was "Made under the direction of Major W. L. Fisk, Corps of Engineers, and E. E. Haskell, Chief Asst., Engineer," and is dated June, 1903. A note in the lower right corner shows that the map was drawn at a scale of 1 inch = 20 feet.

- One architectural drawing entitled "Addition to Hospital, Fort Wayne, Michigan. Major P. G. Wales, Surgeon, U.S. Army. March, 1907." The drawing consists of black ink on linen and shows a transverse cross-section view of the building as well as an end elevation view of the proposed four-story addition. Building dimensions are given on the cross section view. Both views are shown at a scale of 1 inch = 8 feet. Printed text in the lower right corner shows "Bldg. #209" and "P. E. File Nr. 4919."

- One inventory list of the guns at Fort Wayne. The list is shown in a tabular format that consists of printed black text on white paper including blank rows and columns that were to be completed by the officer in charge. Several rows and columns have gun quantities shown in the lower portion of the table. The inventory list has handwritten text in the lower right corner that shows "Respectfully submitted to the Chief of Engineers, U. S. Army, with letter dated April 29, 1892. O. M. Poe, Col., Corps of Engineers, Bvt. Brig. Gen., U.S.A." A blue ink stamp on the verso shows "No. 39, U. S. Engineer Office, Detroit, Mich., Received Jan. 22, 1892."

A brief history of establishment of the fort is shown under "Legend" in the lower right corner. Small handwritten text in the lower left corner indicates the dates of plan corrections/revisions.
