- The W. T. Grant department store is on the corner facing North Washington Avenue. The remainder of the block is occupied by the Lansing City Hall (identified as "Old" in the 1959 City Directory because a newer city hall was under construction). The parking lot on the corner appears to belong to the auto wash and service center based on city directory listings. City Planning Division staff annotated the photo. The photo has a crack in the emulsion where it appears to have been folded; it is visible as a straight line.
