- The adobe brick, Stephen Mills designed Greek Revival home at 1880 Textile Road in Pittsfield Township.; The Historical Society held a Showhouse here in 1992. House is owned by Dr. Ping, who purchased it from Bob and Bess Tefft, who purchased it from A. E. Locie, who purchased it from the Hurd family who built the house. In 1993 Linda and Dean Grieb purchased the house from the Pings.

- In 1983, the Saline Public Library, located at 201 S. Ann Arbor Street, became the Saline Area Public Library to recognize the funding and usage of the surrounding townships. The library remained at this location until a building site at 555 N. Maple Road was developed for the newly created Saline District Library, which opened in 1994.
