- The Wallace Block, named for builder Daniel Wallace, whose family owned other buildings in Saline area. Photo shows fire garage to left and on second floor was the Opera House. The postcard is postmarked 1914. Although the postcard caption is Monroe Street, the photo appears to be Adrian Street instead.; The Methodist Parsonage and Church can be seen to the right. The fire bell now in Curtiss Park was located on the roof above the fire garage.

- Carl Curtiss, Sr. Hired by William Davenport in 1909 to operate Citizen's Bank. Took over in 1930 when Beverley Davenport died. Community supporter, third president of Rotary Club.

- Probably an advertisement of Grove Parsons Men's Clothing Store. Started by Cornelius Parsons, son of Orrin and Rebecca (Fuller) Parsons, born in Saline on January 18, 1832. Cornelius first had a hardware business with a Mr. Judd and later a Mr. Northrup. Later he associated in dry goods with an H. L. Miller and this became the dry goods business run for many years by his son Grove at 100 East Michigan Avenue. No reference to a Harper in business with Grove Parsons in 1894 can be found.

- Risdon built the house at 101 N. Lewis and Michigan Avenue. Livery barn now at Depot was at rear of lot. Built prior to 1837 when Michigan became a state.; St. Paul's Church visible. US-12 unpaved. House owned by Ted Stimson family for many years.
