- An unidentified man in a snowy street with a horse drawn milk wagon, likely on West Shiawassee Street in Lansing. The wagon may read "I. Buck" for Irving Buck of Buck & Bailey grocers. Note on sleeve: "No. 94. Feby. 23, 1899. 8:20 am. Smallest stop. Time 2 seconds. Opr. Al. No sun (cloudy), snow on ground. Over Exposed."

- A photograph of a man and woman with a horse attached to a wagon, in front of a home. The people in this photograph look very similar to the couple shown in Negative No. 9 (2015-10-005.001.009), who are identified as Mr. and Mrs. Dean. There several Deans in the 1898 directory; this is likely Joseph and Fannie Dean who boarded at 607 Seymour Street that year. Note on sleeve: "No. 8. May 21 '98. 5:30 pm. Snap. S. Opr. Hat."

- Description:
- Photograph of Benton House, Lansing, with horse drawn carriage passing. Built by Bush, Thomas & Lee, opened in 1848 on the northwest corner of Washington Avenue and Main Street. It was the first brick building erected in Lansing. The hotel later became the Everett House. In 1900 the deteriorated hotel was razed and the property sold to R.E. Olds who built his residence on the site in 1903.
