- East side of 100 and 200 blocks seen from Washtenaw Street. Panoramic shot covering several blocks. Unfortunately, not as sharply focused as most images in the collection. Playing at the Michigan Theatre is "The Blue Angel", released in 1959. City Planning Division staff annotated the photo.

- Was originally Mead's Hall. The portion on the right, marked vacant, 118 North Washington Avenue, was occupied by the Garden Theater after its days as Mead's Hall. Mac's Cigars and Tobacco was at 120 North Washington Avenue. City Planning Division staff notations are on the photo. One of two variants.

- At right is the end of the Gladmer Theatre at 233 North Washington Avenue. Moving left, in the same building, Randall's Health Foods is at 231. Continuing south, Silver Lead Paint at 229, Western Auto Supply at 225, Emery-Pratt office equipment at 223, Epicure Tea Shop at 221, MacLaughlin Music at 219, National China at 213, and Firestone Tires at 211. The block ends with the Tussing building at West Ottawa Street, home of the Palms Theatre at 209 and the College Drugstore at 201. Buildings seen to the south include the Bank of Lansing at 101 North Washington Avenue, Prudden building on South Washington and West Michigan Avenue, and the Michigan National Tower at West Allegan Street and South Capitol Avenue.
