Description on back "Founded in 1873 by James Edmund Scripps, The Detroit News has become one of the foremost newspapers in America, and occupies the largest as well as the most completely and modernly equipped newspaper manufactory in the world. It now occupies a full city block. 300 by 280 feet, and has in addition, a 200 car garage in an adjoining block across the road.
