King of Ypsilanti, Michigan. The address for Gardner, Ferry, and Church is 189 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, Michigan. The envelope is postmarked March 9 with a 3 cent Washington stamp.

- Sealed D.M Ferry and Company envelope addressed to Mr. W.H. Greenell of Pierpont Manor, New York. The envelope is printed with a Calvert Lithograph Company engraving of the D.M. Ferry and Company Seed Warehouse above a logo which reads, "D.M. Ferry & Co. Seed Merchants, Growers & Importers, Detroit, Mich." The envelope is postmarked Detroit, February 3, 1886, and bears a two cent brown George Washington stamp. A Pierrepont Manor, New York, February 4, 1886 postmark is on the verso.
