- Color postcard depicting the Hotel Pontchartrain from the corner of Woodward Avenue and Cadillac Square, with a streetcar and the Bagley Memorial Fountain in the foreground. Printed on verso: The Hotel Pontchartrain, Detroit's latest and best hotel, is beautifully situated on the Campus. It is ten stories high with three stories underground. This hotel was opened to the public in October 1907 and is strictly fireproof. It is a marvel of convenience, the underground portion being the most important for the comfort of the guests. Over four million pounds of steel were used in its construction. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Jul 18, 1909.

- Color postcard depicting the lumber yard at the Murphy Chair Company, with a shed, barrel, and tracks visible. Printed on verso: Yard View. This card gives you a view of one of our lumber tracks, and is presented to show you the manner in which we store out boards to insure perfect seasoning. The shed shown extended to the right at the upper end and to the left at the office end, in shape like [zigzag line] and is 1946 ft. long with a storage capacity for 3,330,900 feet of lumber. The frame building is the yard Master's office. We shall take you through our entire plant with a series of these cards and trust they may be of interest to you. Murphy Chair Company, Detroit. - Color postcard depicting the Detroit Boat Club, with colorful flowers in front and the Detroit River in the foreground. Printed on verso: Detroit Boat Club, Belle Isle, Detroit, Mich. The Detroit Boat Club is one of the most exclusive social and athletic organizations in Detroit. Its handsome home on Belle Isle near the bridge was erected in 1902 to replace one destroyed by fire. The building is one of the finest of its kind in the world. Its members enjoy unusual facilities for their favorite sport of rowing, which they combine with sailing and canoeing. Their balls feature the summer in Detroit society. In front of the bridge entrance to the club is one of the finest flower beds on the Island. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Dec 8, 1915.

Belle Isle, the playground of the people of Detroit, is one of the most beautiful parks in this country. It has many beautiful canals, a large Casino and Pavilion where refreshments are served. It contains 702 acres and has twenty miles of macadam roadway. It has a fine Zoo, Aquarium. Horticultural building and Bathing Pavilion with 1,000 private rooms. Belle Isle was purchased by Detroit in 1879 and the city has spent $2,000,000 to make it an enjoyable spot for her citizens and guests. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Sep 13, 1914.

Printed on verso: Hotel Griswold and Café. Is situated on the busy corner of Griswold Street and Grand River Avenue, and although one of the oldest, is most popular, being refitted and having one of the finest cafes between New York and Chicago. Here can be heard the finest music both vocal and instrumental with cuisine unsurpassed. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Jan 31, 1913.
