He says that post-war life in Hiroshima was very, very hard and that everyone lived with the fear of the unknown future effects of radiation. Morita also discusses immigrating to Brazil as a clock smith, opening a corner store, helping to found the Atomic Bomb Survivors Association, hosting Association meetings at his store and fighting for survivor rights.
