- Color postcard depicting the Casino on Belle Isle, with many people and parked cars in front. Printed on verso: Casino, Belle Isle. Belle Isle is in the Detroit River between Detroit and Windsor, Canada. The Island contains 702 acres and is entirely covered with one of the most beautiful parks in the United States, having some 21 miles of Macadam Roads; a magnificent Casino; Pavilions; Boat Houses; Aquarium; Horticultural Hall and Zoological Gardens. The island was purchased by Detroit in 1879, and has since then expended $1,600,000 in beautifying it. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Sep 19, 1917.

- One map entitled "Belle Isle Illustrated - A Descriptive Map and Guide." The map is printed in black, blue, and green ink on white paper and shows a plan view of the island. Roads, lakes, canals, and wooded areas are shown along with the locations of park amenities and various sites of interest. Seventeen small black and white pictures of the island and shown along the top and bottom edges and printed text in the lower right corner gives some history of the island. Several company advertisements are shown on the verso. The map was prepared at a scale of 1 inch = 720 feet by the "Silas Farmer & Co., 31 Monroe Ave., cor. Farmer St., Detroit" and is dated 1895. Separated is the accompanying soft-cover of the map entitled "Belle Isle Illustrated. A Descriptive Map and Guide Published By Silas Farmer & Co. Detroit." compliments of Union Trust Company.

- Color postcard depicting an elevated view of a road, lawn, and pedestrian-filled path on Belle Isle. Five cars are visible on the street. Printed on verso: Central Avenue, Belle Isle, Detroit's principal recreation spot. The island is located in the Detroit river near lake St. Clair, and it connected with the city by a bridge 8 feet less than half a mile in length. It comprises 702 acres, is over two miles long and boasts over thirty miles of fine macadam roadway which completely circles and frequently intersects it. A fine zoo, aquarium, horticultural building, swimming and skating pavilions, casino and boat livery are in connection. The City has expended over $1,500,000 on it since its purchase in 1879. This view is taken from the lower end of the Island and shows the ferry dock in the distance. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Jul 25, 1911.
