- One of the Lansing Fire Department pump engines on a hydraulic lift in the new Station No. 1 machine shop. This print has adhesive and moisture damage. Similar photographs appear in the booklet "Lansing Fire Department: Dedicated to the Saving of Life and Property" which was published in approximately 1950. The brochure credits George Beak, Communications Division, and Frank Mainville, Press Photographer, for the photographs in the booklet.

- A view of the new Lansing Central Fire Station (Station No. 1), taken from the opposite corner of Grand and Shiawassee streets, looking to the southwest. The state capitol dome can be seen in the distance. A fragment of this photograph has also been printed on the back cover of the booklet "Lansing Fire Department: Dedicated to the Saving of Life and Property" which was published in approximately 1950. - Photograph of Lansing Fire Department in September, 1895. Captain Hugo Delphs was fire chief at the time. The fire house was located in the ground floor of the City Hall building which stood at 112 East Allegan, later the site of the Capital Savings and Loan Association.
