- Description:
- The 100 block of North Washington Avenue, looking south. The cross street is Michigan Avenue. Building signs for City National Bank, Linn Photo Co., and others can be seen. The photograph was likely taken in the 1920s because the old City National Bank is visible, and the newer Prudden building (built 1922) is also in the photo. Three copies.

- Description:
- This is a collection of approximately 1,350 "windshield tour" snapshots of older properties around the Lansing area, mostly residential, taken by David Caterino. Caterino was a local history collector and volunteer who likely took most of these photographs as a way to document things that might soon be torn down. The collection includes the demolition of the Michigan Theater. Caterino gave most images a number, though the numbers do not consistently correspond to an individual image, a negative strip, or an entire roll of film. These have been referred to in the catalog record as "Image no." with a number for each photograph. Sometimes the image number can be cross-referenced with a photo index Caterino created; if so, all information from the index is included here with each photo's description. In a few cases, the photograph is actually a duplication of another photo, but sources for these copies are not identified. The collection is divided up into 69 series by street name, or in some cases a specific building or other location.
