B.] James Photo." The view shows a wide excavated trench in the foreground along with two parallel concrete sewer base sections with rounded bottoms. The top portion of the sewer was to be cast in place onto the base sections to result in a large, double-barrel sewer. When a nearby waste pile of excavated material (beyond the image to the right) collapsed, it caused the sewer grade line to heave upward as shown by the large transverse crack in the concrete base sections that are located near the center of the photo. A large barn and several wood-frame buildings are visible in the background.
