- This leaf is from Estatutos Generales de Barcelona, a book of religious statutes, brought out in Mexico in 1585 by Pedro Ocharte. Both the type and paper were undoubtably imported from Spain. The indentations on the top of the upper margin were from the title being burned into the top of the book. The recto side of the leaf is marked as page 67; the verso side has no page number.

- A leaf from a Latin version of the Bible, printed at Paris in 1558 by the heirs of Carola Guillard, relict of Claude Chevallon. This version was edited by Johannes Benedictus. The marginal notes show where the Latin is different from the original Hebrew and Greek, and also gives a more literal interpretations of words and phrases. The recto side of the leaf is marked as page 249; the verso side is marked 350.

- From the Life of Jesus Christ, translated from Latin into Dutch by the Carthusian monk Ludolphus of Saxony. It was printed by Peter van Ghelen at Antwerp in 1618. The volume contains passages from scriptures, prayers and pious meditations. The illustrations predate the book by at least one and a quarter centuries; they were used in an edition brought out in 1495 by Peter Os van Breda at Antwerp. The recto side of the page is marked as fol. 318.

- A leaf from Icones Veteris Testamenti, or Illustrations of the Old testament. William Pickering created this book but the designs were by Holbein. It was printed by Charles Whittingham of the Chiswick Press and has the imprint of London, 1830.

- A leaf from a Persian manuscript of the early Seventeenth Century, viz., the Sháhnáma of Firdausi, the longest poem in the Persian language. The calligraphy is in the style known as Shekasteh Nastaliq.

- From La Sicilia Di Filippo Paruta, a compilation of Sicilian medals. The compilation was done by Paruta and Leonardo Agostini. Paruta was Secretary to the Palermitan Senate in the 17th Century; Leonardo Agostini was the Supervisor of Antiqueties to the Pope. This work was originally published in Palermo 1612, but this leaf was taken from an edition that was published in Lyons, 1697 by Marco Maier. The engravings were done by Joannes Angelus Caninus and Sebastianus Fuscarus.
