- The Richardsonian Romanesque former Federal Building and Post Office, later used as a City Hall annex. It was built in 1894. Surrounding it are the new City Hall and police annex at the corner of Michigan and Capitol avenues. The picture was likely taken just prior to demolition in 1958. Two copies. Originally part of the Carl Dalrymple Collection.

- Shows three unidentified men surrounded by stacks of merchandise in the dry goods store. Located on the west side of the 100 block, West Michigan Avenue, in downtown Lansing. A signature of J. P. Edmonds, and stamp "Edmonds Collection" are on the reverse.

- Seen from high in the State Capitol Building. At the time of the photo, Washington Avenue had been closed as a street and converted to a mall north of Michigan Avenue and parking south of Michigan. Also, Jim's Tiffany Place restaurant at 116 East Michigan is seen in the photo, on the right between Washington and Grand.

- Former Jack Tar/Olds Hotel, at 125 West Michigan Avenue, before its purchase by State of Michigan. One of seven variants. In this instance, the Sesquicentennial monument can be seen in front of the Capitol beside Capitol Avenue.
