- The new Station No. 1 Chief's Office, with floral arrangements on the windowsill. Out the window, the Graybar Electric Company can be seen on the north side of East Shiawassee Street. Similar photographs appear in the booklet "Lansing Fire Department: Dedicated to the Saving of Life and Property" which was published in approximately 1950. - The Secretary's Office at the new Station No. 1. An ash tray on a stand is next to a chair, and there is an ash tray on the desk as well. Through the window the Goodyear automobile service station at 111 East Shiawassee Street can be seen. The Secretary's Office was located on the west side of the new building along East Shiawassee Street and the view is to the northeast.
