- Black and white street view photograph from a glass plate negative of the south side of Cadillac Square, from Woodward Avenue. Pedestrians are visible walking the thoroughfare as well as waiting on the neighboring sidewalk. Automobiles are also parked along the adjacent avenue. Neighboring the thoroughfare are many commercial structures including the, "Goebel Building; American Paint and Glass; The Paint Shop; and the Imperial Tea Company. The Pontchartrain Hotel is visible in the right side of the image. Written on the verso, "Cadillac Square, south side, first block from Woodward, looking east, 1910."

- Black and white street view photograph from a glass plate negative of the east side of Woodward Avenue, Congress to Fort Street looking north, as noted on the verso. Pedestrians are visible walking across Woodward Avenue, as well as along the neighboring sidewalk. Horse carriages, automobiles, and a street car are visibly parked or moving down the thoroughfare. Road construction is occurring in front of Brown's Drug Store on Woodward in the central right foreground. The Pontchartrain Hotel is visible in the background adjacent to the commercial block along Woodward. Commercial businesses include Misfit; Louis Sheneider; and The T.S. Sayl Company.

- Color postcard depicting Cadillac Square, facing west. In view are the Ford Building, Pontchartrain Hotel, City Hall, Gayety Theatre, Gregory Mayer & Thom Co. Building, and many cars parked in the street. Printed on verso: Cadillac Square runs east from Campus Martius to County Building and was named after the founder of Detroit, Antoine Laumet de La Mothe Cadillac. Cadillac chair is located on the West, which was formerly the site of the Old City Hall, built in 1835 and occupied until 1871 as the seat of Civic Authority. Cadillac arrived in Detroit July 24th, 1701. On that day, under the patronage of Louis XIV and protected by the Flag of France, the City of Detroit, then called Fort Pontchartrain, was founded.

Printed on verso: "City Hall, Pontchartrain Hotel and Hammond Bldg. This handsome group of buildings is situated in the heart of the business section of Detroit and it goes without saying that they are a credit to the already distinguished city." Handwritten message on verso. Postmarked 1912.

- Menu with envelope from the opening dinner of the Hotel Pontchartrain held on Tuesday, October 29, 1907. The menu is bound with whit ribbon in a heavy white paper cover printed with an embossed image of the hotel's crest on the front. Both the dinner's courses, as well as a reproduction of a menu for a dinner given by Madame la Chancelière for King Louis XIII at the château de Pontchartrain are printed within. The envelope is pale blue with an image of the hotel's crest at the upper left.

- Sepia-toned photographic print depicting Cadillac Square as viewed from an elevated position near Randolph Street, facing west toward Michigan Avenue. The square is filled with rows of parked early automobiles. The Pontchartrain Hotel, City Hall, the Majestic Building, the Ford Building, Dime Building, and the Michigan Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument in Campus Martius are all in view. Visible businesses include Gregg Hardware; a bar; the Gayety Theatre; the Old Kentucky Whiskey Company; the Wobrock Hotel; the American Hotel; Schroeder Paint and Glass Company; Cadillac Market; a bowling alley; McIntosh Bar; the Gregory, Mayer, and Thom Company; Home Candy Works; the Family Theatre; the Sweeney-Huston Company; Weil and Company Furniture; F.G. Clayton Company, Clothing; and Cadillac Burlesque. There are also advertisements for Calumet Baking Powder and the Ringling Brothers Circus. The word "red" above an arrow pointing to the Gregory, Mayer, and Thom Company has been added in pencil. "Gray" and an arrow have been written above City Hall. A note on the verso adds, "Gregory, Mayer and Thom Building red brick with stone trimmings," as well as "c.1913-1919."
