- A marching band in the Oldsmobile Parade down Washington Avenue, part of a three-day salute to Oldsmobile in Lansing. Signs for the LaBelle Lodge and Plaza hotels, Roy's Steak House, Mark's Jewelry and Luggage, the Charcoal Gallery restaurant, and Vandervoort's Hardware are all visible. All of Lansing's high school marching bands were represented in this parade.

- Located at 118 N. Washington Avenue. The Garden Theatre operated from 1913 to 1940. The silent film "The Old Parlor" seen on the sign at right opened in 1913.

- Photograph of Original Presbyterian Church, Lansing. Located on southwest corner of Washington Avenue and Genesee Street. Built 1852. The first church bell in Lansing resided in it's belfrey in 1856. Occupied by Presbyterians until 1889 when they moved to a new building on the southwest corner of Capitol Avenue and Allegan Street. The First Baptist congregation worshiped in the building from 1892 until 1894 when their building was completed. This church burned in 1897. Four copies.
