Dr. Bartholomew's Office

Description:

A small single-story frame building owned by Dr. Ira Hawley Bartholomew, who served as mayor of Lansing from 1863 to 1865. He was a general practitioner and surgeon, and also served as president of the state medical association among other honors. The building was located on the north side of East Allegan between Washington and Grand avenues.
