H. G. Christman - Lansing Company and Nehi Beverages

Description:
The Christman Company established its Lansing offices at the Porter Hotel in 1919, and constructed this local headquarters building in 1927, intentionally with space to lease to other businesses such as Nehi. When Henry G. Christman died in 1933, the company became known as The Christman Company, Inc. Located in the 400 block of Kalamazoo Plaza (off River Street near Kalamazoo Avenue). The Kalamazoo Avenue bridge can be seen in the background. This photograph dates from between 1927 and 1933.
