Photograph. Sepia-toned photo showing the construction of a railroad bridge over the Rouge River. Printed text in the lower right corner of the photo shows the number, "39," and "M.C.R.R. The view looks northward and shows several workmen who are constructing wooden forms on the trusses in order to contain the poured concrete that will create the counterweights. Two construction cranes can be seen in the background. The 2-story brick building for the bridge operator is visible at the far right side. The ground is lightly covered with snow.
