Jar Sherd; Pozzuoli; Pottery; Clay (unfired); undecorated

Notes:
Probably both from the same large container. Both curve and have same thickness of clay. A is larger with triangular shape and attached U-handle: two horizontal ridges on one side at handle zone level, and two vertical ridges above handle. Interior has modeling striations all over and charred layer still clinging to it in places. B is more trapezoidal in shape. No handle, but slight raised nodes on two edges suggest a raised ridge decoration. Inner side likewise has modeling marks and extant charred layer of ash. Clay is orange , but stained black and whitish from heat contact.
