Photograph of Wallace Garneau who began teaching at Western in 1938 and organized Western's first radio station, WMCR, in 1950. WMCR became WMUK in 1961. Garneau was also a 1935 graduate of Western State Teachers College. This photo appeared in the March 1958 Western Michigan University Newsletter in an article announcing his death.
