The Water Works Park occupies a 72 acre lot of ground on Jefferson avenue, is owned by the city and partially occupied by its waterworks pumping station, has been made one of Detroit's beauty spots. The water supply is pumped through a long tunnel from Lake St. Clair to the distributing point, and the park is remarkable for its large floral clock. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Nov 5, 1918.
