Arrangement of Steering Gear [Hull No. 75]

Description:
One plan sheet entitled, "Arrangement of Steering Gear." The drawing consists of ink on linen and shows plan and profile views of the steering chain placement along the sides of the hull for the fire tugboat, George A. Wallace. The drawing shows the entire length of the chain from the wheel in the pilothouse back to the rudder. The title block in the lower right corner shows that the drawing was prepared by the "Manitowoc Ship Building & Dry Dock Co." at a scale of 3/8 inch = 1 foot and is dated May 9, 1916. The plan number is shown as "3649."
