Notes:

Fragment of brown woven wool fabric with a ribbed selvedge. There is a row of countered weft-twining near one edge. The twining loops pass over three warps. There is 0.5 cm of a pale purple weft band along one edge. There are rows of darning stitches in this corner, that have distorted the purple band and obscured part of the selvedge.
