Rome; Lamps; Glaze; Clay (unfired)

Notes:

Deep buff micaceous clay with red glaze worn on three faces. Long nozzle with rounding end and concave sides. Body slightly oval with filling hole at back. Top decorated with three draped female busts in relief, facing front, hair piled on top of heads. Back of lamp broken and restored, but seems to have had handle. Pear-shaped base ring. Inscription in relief. Blackened about wick hole.
