Description:
Union supporters march outside of the Timken-Detroit Axle Company, the home of 300 auto workers during the 1937 sit-down strike. At the conclusion of the strike the United Automobile Workers Union were granted rights to be the sole bargaining agency for the building and the workers were granted a wage increase.
