Ma'at in the hall of judgment with Anubis as judge; Book of the Dead papyrus: Ma'at in the hall of judgment. Ma'at accompanies the person for whom the papyrus was made, identifiable in the fragment by his upraised arm. The upraised arm is a gesture of both prayer and triumph.
