Notes:
The child Harpocrates sits on a lotus blossom with legs partially extended. He holds a squat, rounded pot with left arm and holds forefinger of right hand to his mouth. He wears the sidelock of youth, a bell around his neck, and bracelets. Originally he wore a double crown. Face is full and looks to right. Protruding mouth framed by fleshy folds. Body infantile with chubby limbs and bulging belly. Petals rendered by lengthwise striations. Lotus blossom rests on high, elliptical base and is tilted backwards. Back of lotus plastically rendered in stylized form. Yellowish-brown clay (Muns. 7.5YR 5/4). Hollow molded and sealed at sides. Bottom open. Circular vent in back.
