Herman Miller Molded Plywood Chair

Description:
This chair, in the collection of the Dallas Museum of Art, is made of molded plywood which sits on a chrome-plated metal base. There is a birch veneer which covers the seat and backrest. The seat and back are attached by black rubber shock mounts to a black frame with metal glides. The rubber shock mounts permit the chair to flex readily to changes in position.
