- Notes:
- Fragment of woven wool fabric with yellow 2-ply warp, weft bands of yellow, brown and a small amount of blue. There is a remnant of brown dovetail tapestry with yellow wool weft-wrapping. The wider brown weft band also has some weft-wrapping. Weft bands are as follows:; yellow (including brown tapestry) 8 cm; green/blue 0.1 cm (possibly 4 picks); deeply yellowed 0.6 cm; brown 2 picks; deeply yellowed 0.5 cm; brown 0.8 cm; deeply yellowed 2.5 cm; yellowed 0.8 cm; deeply yellowed 1 cm; brown 0.5 cm; yellow 0.3 cm There are some linen stitches and a ribbed selvedge.
