Jerusalem; Lamps; Clay (unfired); Slip

Notes:
Light reddish clay with white slip. Pear-shaped lamp. Double convex body. Nozzle is hole in top of small end. Large filling hole has two molded circles about it, the outer continues down neck and about wick hole. Conventional design in channel thus formed. Band of raised rays on rim and within this, a row of raised dots. Solid knob handle rises from top and back of lamp. Double base ring within which is indistinct rosette. Lamp blackened about wick hole.
