Hotel Kerns Fire

Description:

Located at 114 North Grand Avenue. Photo shows red flames roaring in the night outlining the Hotel Kerns fire of December 11, 1934, in which at least thirty-four people were known dead. Here a section of the front wall buckles as firemen at the lower right back away.
