A leaf from "Anatome Corporis Humani", by Joanne Valverdo (Juan de Hamusco Valverde). It is a translation into Italian from the original in Spanish. This volume first appeared in 1560 in Rome and Venice; the translation into Italian was made under Valverdo's direction. This edition is from the Giunta Press, and was published at Venice in 1586. The recto side of the leaf is marked as page 43 and the verso side is marked as page 44.
