Notes:
Woman, wearing amulet, leggings, shawl with fringed tails, and knee-length garment, sits with legs drawn back and heels together. Arms would have been in orans position. Face is round and flattened. Features are schematic. Corners of mouth do not meet. Pupils indicated and look straight ahead. Wears coiffure consisting of a row of curls framing face, above which looms two pine cones with central diadem and scarf draped over it. Drapery of back side indicated. Brown clay (Muns. 7.5 yr 5/4) moulded hollow in two halves and sealed at sides. Bottom is moulded along with back side. No vent. Traces of pink (shawl) and black (hair) paint.
