Murch Morris, Grand Rapids Herald photographer. Head to knees frontal shot of an unsmiling man in topcoat and fedora, standing in front of the brick residence which has two single paned bay windows near the right side of the image and a window with multiple small panes to the left. His bare hands are clenched into fists, and there is a ring on the third finger of his left hand. The brick wall behind him forms a corner with a loser porch wall.
