Description:

"School site bought 1909 - $1,000. 10-room building built 1913 cost $33,500.00. Adjacent lots were purchased 1914 for $800.00. In October 1925 two wings were added - cost $150,000.00. Allen School and Kalamazoo School were the largest schools, each capable of accomodating 6-700 pupils." [From display card with photograph.]
