Pozzuoli; Lamps; Clay (unfired)

Notes:
Mottled pale gray and buff micaceous clay; unglazed. Nozzle with straight end and concave sides. One side of nozzle broken. On neck are two molded heads of some long necked birds addorsed. Narrow channel between them leads to discus. Two V-shaped grooves separate plain rim from plain depressed discus with filling hole. Pieced vertical handle rises from top opposite nozzle and at right angles to axis of lamp. Plain base shaped to outline lamp. Nozzle end blackened.
