James W. Smith Block

- Two-story brick block built by proprietor of the St. James Hotel, James Wilson Smith, in 1901. Located at the southeast corner of University Drive (Fifth Street) and South Main Street. Occupied by E. A. Hudson Grocery. Also known as the Crissman building, it was damaged by a gas explosion in 1992. Addressed to Miss Cynithia Calkins of Elburn, Illinois from M.M.N.
