Fourth of July Parade

Notes:
Circa 1939 American Legion sponsored Fourth of July Parade float commemorating the 1823 founding of Ypsilanti; the float is going pass the south side of the 300 block of West Michigan Avenue in Ypsilanti. In the left background is the new United States Post Office built in 1918 at 229 West Michigan Avenue and used as such until the 1960s when it became the site of the Ypsilanti District Library.
