Lansing Fire Department - Chief's Office

Description:
Two unidentified men in the chief's office at the new Station No. 1. The man at the desk may be Chief Hugh F. Fisher. Fisher succeeded Chief Paul Lefke, who retired in June of 1943. Similar photographs appear in the booklet "Lansing Fire Department: Dedicated to the Saving of Life and Property" which was published in approximately 1950. The brochure credits George Beak, Communications Division, and Frank Mainville, Press Photographer, for the photographs in the booklet.
